Tottenham Hotspur have now layed out four potential new signings ahead of the summer transfer window if they are to sell Richarlison.

Last summer saw Daniel Levy finally sanction the sale of the club record goalscorer in Harry Kane as he moved on to Bayern Munich.

Naturally, that has left a huge hole in the Tottenham attack which the club have not been able to fill with the options Ange Postecoglou inherited.

And The Spurs News have been told that Tottenham would be open to the idea of potentially selling Richarlison this summer.

Postecoglou will have another opportunity to build on the squad he is putting together at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Now, it is being claimed that the club have already earmarked a number of potential areas that will be looked to upgrade over the coming months.

A number of targets are already emerging as potential candidates for Postecoglou and the Spurs recruitment staff ahead of the summer.

The likes of Conor Gallagher and Ivan Toney are both players who are being suggested as players on the radar of the Lilywhites.

And Tottenham will need to focus on quality this summer with European football looking like a certainty ahead of next season.

Spurs have had major issues this season with injuries hindering their squad over the course of the season and quality replacements will be needed for Tottenham to compete on all fronts.

According to club insider Paul O Keefe, Tottenham are now looking at bringing in a centre-back, central-defensive midfielder/central midfielder, left or right winger and a centre-forward if Richarlison is sold.

The club brought in Timo Werner over the January transfer window on loan but the club hold the option to potentially make his stay permanent.

Bolstering their frontline is clearly an area which the club want to address but it will be interesting to see what level of funds they put into it.

After all, Richarlison was a £60m signing just two years ago but he has simply not shown the levels of consistency both fitness-wise and goalscoring-wise to prove he is capable of leading Tottenham forward.

Should Tottenham give Richarlison one more season?

It has been a turbulent season for the Brazilian forward at Tottenham with a number of issues hindering his campaign.

His off-field issues have become well documented and his injury problems certainly have not helped his case for the long-term spot up top at Tottenham.

He has shown some really bright spells this season with nine goals over a run of 10 games in the Premier League prior to picking up the recent knee injury.

That would be the level of form which could see him become the striker Tottenham need to replace Kane, however, there have to be question marks over whether he could do this over a number of seasons.

The realistic answer is that he has not shown he is capable of doing so, but perhaps another season under Postecoglou may push him in the right direction.
