Celtic lead the pack among the the two Premier League teams apparently interested in signing Raphinha from Barcelona.

Regarding the Brazilian’s future with the Catalan giants, there are uncertainties, according to Spanish publication Relevo.

There are doubts about Raphinha’s position in the current Barca squad and his future there after the 16-year-old La Masia star Lamine Yamal made an impression on the team.

While the former Leeds United player is sidelined due to an injury, Yamal has emerged as the team’s primary winger and made a major impression. The young kid has participated in all 90 minutes of Barcelona’s previous three La Liga games, and the Spanish media has praised him as one of the team’s greatest performers during that time. It has raised doubts about Raphinha’s position and given rise to the notion that he is prepared to take on a largerrole for Barcelona.

Despite only finding the net four times this season, the Brazilian wide player has 14 goals and 19 assists in 70 games for Barcelona since joining from Leeds. Having completed his dream transfer to Barcelona in July 2022, it is said he wantsto stay, but given the club’s unstable financial position, they might try to cash in on some of their players.

Raphinha is being linked with a possible return to the Premier League

Raphinha may be among them as well, according to Spanish rumours that indicate many clubs, including those in England, are interested in signing him.

The 27-year-old reportedly got offers for Barcelona last summer, reportedly from Chelsea and Newcastle, but he chose to remain in his current position. Tottenham is one of the two other Premier League teams that are apparently interested and have gotten in touch with his agents. When it was rumoured in November that Spurs were preparing a bid, Raphinha was connected to them.
