Despite the imminent departure of Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season, Liverpool, under the guidance of Michael Edwards in transfer matters, remain steadfast in their pursuit of pre-established targets for the upcoming summer transfer window. Among these targets, Inacio has long been admired, yet Liverpool is exploring additional options to strengthen their defensive lineup. While there is admiration for Levi Colwill, securing the England international from Chelsea appears highly improbable.

Liverpool is cautiously evaluating their options before committing to meet Inacio’s release clause, which stands at £51 million. Sporting CP, acknowledging the likelihood of Inacio’s departure, also faces the potential exit of Ousmane Diomonde, who occupies the right side of the defense alongside Inacio.
