BREAKING NEWS: Arteta praises players as the draw closer to Premier league title. Arsenal cruised to a 3-0 home win over Bournemouth to boost their hopes of claiming their first Premier League title in 20 years. Arsenal sweep past Bournemouth to boost Premier League title hopes

Arsenal comfortably secured a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth at home, enhancing their prospects of clinching their first Premier League title in two decades.

Despite missing several clear chances, Arsenal finally broke the deadlock just before halftime when Bukayo Saka confidently converted a penalty.

Leandro Trossard extended Arsenal’s lead in the 70th minute with his 10th goal of the Premier League season.

A goal by Antoine Semenyo for Bournemouth was disallowed due to a foul against David Raya, while Gabriel Magalhaes saw his goal ruled out for offside. Nonetheless, Declan Rice sealed the win for Arsenal with a goal in the 97th minute.

This victory marks Arsenal’s fourth consecutive win, putting them four points ahead of Manchester City in the title race.

Saka’s early attempt was saved by Travers, who was in good form throughout the match, denying attempts from Kai Havertz, William Saliba, and Thomas Partey.

Arsenal’s breakthrough came when Travers fouled Havertz in the box, allowing Saka to calmly convert the penalty.

Despite Bournemouth’s efforts to rally, Arsenal doubled their lead through Trossard, and although Semenyo appeared to score for Bournemouth, the goal was disallowed.

Gabriel’s powerful strike was also ruled out, but Arsenal sealed the win with Rice’s late goal.

The victory heaps pressure on Manchester City, who are trailing by four points and have two games in hand.

Arsenal now look ahead to a crucial clash with Manchester United, while Bournemouth prepares to face Brentford.
